English singer and songwriter Robbie Williams has had a musical career since he first broke onto the music scene when he was 16 years old and joined Take That in 1990. The popular boy band had multiple top 10 hits, including “Could It Be Magic,” on which Williams performed lead vocals.
He stayed with Take That until 1995, when he left to pursue a solo career. However, he rejoined Take That in July 2010.
While his solo career got off to a sluggish start, Williams had four top 10 hits in 1997, and in 1998 he saw “Millennium” rise to No. 1 on the U.K. singles chart and No. 72 on the Billboard 100 in the United States.
His popularity further increased in the United States in 2000 with “Rock DJ.” That song was a hit partly due to its music video, which was loaded with blood, gore and frontal nudity. However, many television stations edited out the nudity portion of the video.
As a solo artist, Williams has had five No. 1 singles on the U.K. charts.
Since rejoining Take That, Williams and his band mates have recorded and released “Progress,” which sold an astounding 1 million copies in the first 24 days of its release.

Robbie Williams is an English singer and songwriter. He has had a very successful music career and has sold over 70 million records worldwide. Williams has also received more Brit awards than any other artist. He had been active in the music industry since 1990, but he longed to establish a fan base outside of the United Kingdom. William released the single “Millennium” 1998 and that helped establish a larger fan base.

The single hit number one in the United Kingdom and in Ireland. It also reached high on the charts in several other countries. “Millennium” only reached 72 on the U.S. hot 100 chart, but it did helped Williams gain popularity in America. The single was also featured on “Now Thats What I call Music” Volume 2, which was released in 1999.

Today Williams is working on his next album, which is expected to be released sometime in 2012. Fans are anticipating the release of this album, but even if Williams never releases another album, he has had a music career that most artists can only dream of. He is one of the best-selling artists of all time and has also been named the Greatest Artists of the 1990s by the United Kingdom Hall of Fame.

Robbie Williams is one of the world’s most popular recording artists. In Britain, he has sold more CD’s than any other solo artist. Whether he performs solo, or as part of the group Take That, Williams is an incredible performer. Not just a singer, he also writes his own music. In addition, as an actor, he has appeared on television numerous times and in several movies, including De-Lovely. A member of the United Kingdom Music Hall of Fame, he was voted the Greatest Artist of the 1990′s. His awards are almost too numerous to list. He has received seventeen BRIT Awards, more than any other singer. He also has received seven ECHO Awards. This too is a record.
Is it important what critics think of Robbie William? Not really, because it is obvious that his millions of fans around the world love this talented performer. Music critics, however, have said the he has “appeal and charisma,” and that some of his songs are “genuine classics.” “Endearing” has also been used by critics to describe his performances. It really does not matter, however, what any critics might say of him. He continues to be eminently popular and adored by fans throughout the world.

As one of the best voices of our generation, Robbie Williams has established himself as a Pop , soft rock and dance type of singer and has been able to make a wide variety of music. At 37 years old, he was a part of the pop group “Take That” and was able to gain some popularity during those days. He has worked with 3 different labels and they are Chrysalis, Virgin and currently Universal. He is best as a singer but he has definitely ventured off to other parts of entertainment as he has been actor and also a voice coach.

He has won numerous awards and has gained a goof amount of fame throughout his career. He even has his very own video game that focuses on singing karaoke and was released in 2010.
