Robbie Williams is one of the world’s most popular recording artists. In Britain, he has sold more CD’s than any other solo artist. Whether he performs solo, or as part of the group Take That, Williams is an incredible performer. Not just a singer, he also writes his own music. In addition, as an actor, he has appeared on television numerous times and in several movies, including De-Lovely. A member of the United Kingdom Music Hall of Fame, he was voted the Greatest Artist of the 1990′s. His awards are almost too numerous to list. He has received seventeen BRIT Awards, more than any other singer. He also has received seven ECHO Awards. This too is a record.
Is it important what critics think of Robbie William? Not really, because it is obvious that his millions of fans around the world love this talented performer. Music critics, however, have said the he has “appeal and charisma,” and that some of his songs are “genuine classics.” “Endearing” has also been used by critics to describe his performances.
